Channing Tatum's Wife Wanted Him to Be in Twilight

Remember all the rumors that Channing Tatum could possibly be starring in Eclipse as Riley? Well, it sounds like Channing's new wife, Jenna Dewan really wanted him to get that role.

Of course, what girl wouldn't want her husband to star in Twilight? Not only is that instant fame and money, but it's pretty cool to say you're married to one of the hottest vampires (or werewolves) around!

And Jenna Dewan really, really wanted new husband Channing Tatum to land the role of Riley. She says, "I totally tried to get him to do it... I was like, 'Baby, do Twilight!' Oh, my god. I'm a huge Twilight fan. I've read all the books. So I was like, 'You should do it, you should do it, you should do it!"

We love that Jenna is such a huge Twilight fan and feel a bit sorry for her that Channing Tatum didn't end up in the role of Riley. Unfortunately for her, Xavier Samuel scored the role, though Channing isn't exactly lacking in roles.

Maybe there's a role for him in Breaking Dawn?
