Sounds even more serious than we thought
We continue to get more and more details about what exactly happened on Christmas Eve when Charlie Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller, called 911. And now it sounds like he really did have a knife! Charlie could be in a lot of trouble for this.
So, what exactly happened on Christmas Eve in the Sheen household? According to reports, Charlie was attacking and threatening Brooke Mueller with a knife, which led her to calling 911. Brooke told police that after she told Charlie she wanted a divorce, he had her pinned to the bed with a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.
According to the affidavit, while Charlie held the knife to Brooke's throat, he said, "You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I'll kill you.... Your mother's money means nothing, I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won't leave any trace." Scary!
In the 911 audio recording, Brooke can be heard saying, "My husband had me (inaudible) with um, with a knife, and (inaudible) he threatened me.... I thought I was gonna die for one hour."
Charlie has obviously had some bad experiences with divorces, including his most recent one with Denise Richards. And now Brooke was telling him that in the divorce, she would be sure to get their two twin boys. Charlie denies threatening Brooke with a knife and says they slapped each other on the arms and he snapped two pairs of eye glasses in front of her. But police do say that Charlie Sheen surrendered a 4-inch folding knife.
If convicted, Charlie would likely face from 2-8 years in jail and a fine of $2,000 to $500,000. He's currently out on $8,500 bond and is due back in court on February 8. it will be interesting to see what happens!
