Did Chris Brown Get a Tattoo of Rihanna's Face?

Chris Brown is grabbing plenty of attention for a new tattoo on his neck that bears a resemblance to Rihanna.

Did Brown get a tattoo of his ex-girlfriend on his neck?

I'm not seeing that the face has a lot of striking similarities that scream Rihanna's likeness, but the woman's face does appear to have the same shape.

There's no hair, but the eyes, nose and lip offer up some similarities too.

The photo at TMZ.com was taken on September 1 and he didn't have it on August 30, so it's definitely new ink.

He would have gotten it the week before he was seen kissing Rihanna at the Video Music Awards.

Of course, TMZ sources are shooting down any similarities between the neck tat and Rihanna, saying, "It's a random woman."

There's no word from Brown about what the tattoo means, but it seems likely that it could have some ties to ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

If you look closely, the woman appears to have cuts/stitches on her lips, a black eye and bruising.

Is it some kind of reminder to Brown that he beat RiRi in 2009?
