Chris Brown and Rihanna Cancel Grammy Appearances
Chris Brown is in custody.
According to various sources, Chris Brown has turned himself into the LAPD following an alleged domestic violence felony battery that occurred early this morning near Hancock Park in L.A.
The details at this point are unclear, but Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna were involved in a car accident earlier this afernoon. Sometime immediately following the accident, Brown got into an argument with a woman. Her identity and name are not being revealed at this time.
According to the victim, she and Brown got into an argument which became violent, and police say the woman in question had "visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."
The LAPD says Brown had left the scene by the time they arrived.
Brown and girlfriend Rihanna were together earlier last night, attending Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party and both canceled their scheduled performances at tonight's event.
Rihanna, who was scheduled to perform, was replaced last-minute by Al Green, Justin Timberlake, Boyz II Men and Keith Urban, who sang Green's classic "Let's Stay Together."
