Christian Bale is Batman. Christian Bale is The Machinist. Christian Bale is Patrick Bateman (a.k.a. American Psycho). To say Christian Bale inhabits his characters fully is an understatement. From the moment he stepped out onto the big screen in Steven Spielberg's Empire of the Sun at age 13, it was clear this British actor knew how to throw himself into a role.

He has been called one of the "Most Creative People in Entertainment," one of the "Hottest Leading Men Under 30", and one of the "Top 8 Most Powerful Cult Figures" (due to his cult-like following online). With Christopher Nolan's help, he resuscitated the Batman franchise from absurdity, and is currently working his mindful magic on Terminator Salvation.

Christian Bale reminds us that acting is a craft. And he just happens to be stupidly hot.
