Courteney Cox Signs on for Scream 4
All the gang's here.
Courteney Cox may currently be prowling for cubs in Cougar Town, but when she reprises her role in the upcoming fourth installment of the Scream franchise, the hunter will become the hunted.
Cox, 45, has officially signed on to star in the sequel, alongside original cast members Neve Campbell and David Arquette. She and Arquette, 36, actually met on the set of the first Scream movie and eventually married.
Cox will reprise her role as feisty reporter Gale Weathers, while Arquette will return as the inept sheriff Dewey Riley. When asked about a rumor that the pair gets killed off quickly in the new movie, Cox brushed it off.
"They're probably back living in Woodsboro (Caifornia)," she said referring to the small town that was the setting of the first film. "I think that he's probably still deputy, and I've had a lot of kids. I don't know. I'm probably miserable, and then I'm sure a lot of murdering will happen."
Well alright, that sounds like the kind of movie I can cheer for.
