Courtney Love Loses Guardianship of Daughter

Courtney Love too unstable to care for Frances Bean.

Can you imagine having Courtney Love for a mom? No wonder Frances Bean Cobain has such a mean streak. Late Monday a report emerged that a court determined Courtney Love too unstable to care for her 17-year-old daughter with late husband Kurt Cobain. What will happen to Frances Bean now?

The court placed Kurt Cobain's sister Kimberly Dawn Cobain and his mom Wendy O'Connor in place to act as guardians to Frances Bean. TMZ says that the guardianship was decided on this past Friday and that Courtney Love was not present. They add, "The guardianship was established after a fairly long period of unstable conduct by Courtney Love."

It's reported that this is the second time that Frances Bean was taken away from her mom. It also happened back in 2003 when Frances was about 11, when she witnessed her mom take a drug overdose and then had to call 911. Courtney regained custody of Frances quickly.

No word on exactly what went down this last time, but you won't see us argue if you wanna say that Courtney Love is crazy...
