Cyndi Lauper Picks Bret Michaels To Win 'Celeb Apprentice'

Lauper says Bret Michaels is a "strong contender."

The two-hour season 9 finale of Celebrity Apprentice is set to air on May 23, and we have another hint that Bret Michaels could be this season's winner. Cyndi Lauper, who was fired this past Sunday, says she thinks Bret has a stronger chance that any other competitor.

Cyndi Lauper says she believes Bret Michaels has the determination that it takes to be Donald Trump's shining star, as Lauper says, "[...] I think because of Bret's illness and the fact that he's recuperated and he's coming back, that kind of determination is pretty great." Lauper added that she thinks Bret Michaels is a "very strong contender" for Trump's winner title.

Donald Trump has hinted at the same, as he told Matt Lauer on the Today Show when Bret Michaels' brain hemorrhage had first occurred that he couldn't imagine the illness happening to a nicer or more dedicated contestant.

Meanwhile it's not clear whether Bret Michaels will be present for the Celebrity Apprentice finale. Trump has said the heck with the show -- he only wants to see Michaels get better. Bret Michaels' family has agreed, as a new report has them desperate for him to take time off from work to recovery properly.
