David Letterman's Secret Suite Above Ed Sullivan Theater
David Letterman extortion case exposes more details about Letterman's history of trysts.
Another Late Show ex-staffer reportedly has stepped forward and said that like Stephanie Birkitt, she had an affair with David Letterman. She also spilled the beans on a private lair he kept for his employee flings.
TMZ.com reports that Holly Hester was a former worker on The Late Show with David Letterman, and sources say she stepped forward from her Los Angeles home this weekend to confess her own affair with David Letterman. "I was madly in love with him at the time," Hester's quoted saying. "I would have married him. He was hilarious."
After Hester's admission, another employee claimed to know a detail about Letterman's history of affairs that hadn't been disclosed yet, saying that when it comes to sex with his employees, "He doesn't have to come out [of the studio]. He has a suite upstairs."
Apparently Letterman referred to the room as "the bunker," and insiders are saying that only his favorite female employees are invited.
The historic Ed Sullivan Theater is located just north of Manhattan's Times Square, on Broadway between 53rd and 54th Streets.
