Demi Lovato: Miley Cyrus is My Best Friend
Can't Demi teach Miley a thing or two?
Sure, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus are both young Disney stars. But one might say they're quite a bit different. Demi Lovato is growing up gracefully and with maturity. Miley Cyrus is getting kinda scandalous and acting pretty obnoxious lately. But Demi says the two are best friends and she'll stick up for Miley no matter what!

I totally get why Demi Lovato is sticking up for Miley Cyrus. Demi knows what it's like to grow up in the public eye. And I'm sure she knows Miley at a deeper level than any of us do. But to call Miley Cyrus her best friend? That just sounds crazy!
When asked about Miley Cyrus's new scandalous music video at the American Music Award nominations, Demi Lovato didn't even let the reporter get the question out before she interjected, "She's my best friend, so you better watch out..." When the question was finally asked, Demi replied, "I think that she looks stunning, and I will defend her 100 percent for the rest of my life." And when pressed a little bit further, Demi simply repeated, "Like I said, she's my best friend and I will defend her for the rest of my life."

Yikes! That was some hardcore defending going on right there. I guess Demi really does have a super close relationship to Miley Cyrus.
We recently commended Demi Lovato for having such a level head and for speaking confidently on the fact that she'll never turn into Lindsay Lohan. And while I realize Lindsay Lohan is much, much worse off than Miley Cyrus, we hope Demi never starts mimicking Miley Cyrus either.
