Girls like old drunks?

He thinks he does! It sounds pretty awful, but Robert Pattinson actually believes he's been able to land so many roles and win so many fans because he looks like an elderly Irish drunkard.

When asked how he thought he landed the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight, Robert Pattinson responded, "I think because a lot of people are willing to go in and play some kind of Adonis. And they have the body and everything. There's a lot of guys, especially in L.A., who can walk down the street and look like some kind of Greek god, statuesque guy." And that's clearly not Robert, "Especially not last year. I was like this chubby-looking old, Irish alcoholic."
