It's Made of Cookie Dough!

Starbucks, are you reading this? Italian coffee company Lavazza has commissioned an edible coffee cup that is made of cookie dough and is lined with sweet, sweet frosting. As 30 Rock's Liz Lemon would say, we want to go to there.

The "cup," the delicious handiwork of a Venezuelan designer named Enrique Luis Sardi, is made out of cookie dough, with a special sugar lining that not only allows the cup to be used to serve coffee, but which also sweetens the coffee. Genius. Pure genius.

TheWateringMouth.com reports the edible cups are sold in Italy, and are even offered in a version that is lined with chocolate instead of vanilla icing.

Bonus: though they may not exactly be friendly to your waistline, the edible cups obviously cut down on additions to waste cans.

To which we say again, Starbucks, are you reading this? More importantly, can't you give Enrique a call and make this happen in your stores?

In the meantime, here's a link to an equally delicious edible sweet cup: Bakerella's Edible Pudding Cups.
