Dreamgirl Performing at the Super Bowl

Jennifer Hudson faces the nation.

After speculation that she would perform at Barack Obama's inauguration proved to be just that, Jennifer Hudson has confirmed that she will perform the national anthem at next month's Super Bowl. The performance will mark Hudson's first return to the spotlight after the tragic slayings of her mother, brother, and nephew last October.

The Super Bowl - which is the most viewed event on television - is a big stage for Jennifer to return to and we're awed by her bravery. Hudson will also perform at the Grammys' MusiCares event in Los Angeles a few days after the February 1st Super Bowl.

Hudson is nominated for four awards at the February 8th Grammys. We wish her all the star-spangled success at the Super Bowl and beyond!
