Early Look at 2012 Super Bowl Ads
Super Bowl Ads for 2012 to Include 'X-Factor,' Lonely Island
Whether you love or hate the Super Bowl (or Tom Brady or Eli Manning) there's one area we can all agree on -- the Super Bowl ads have a little something for everyone.
Which will be the funniest, most clever, or sweetest and most sentimental? Which will be the dumbest (we're looking at you, beer ads)?
The upcoming Super Bowl is still a month away, but AdAge has an early look at some of the commercials we'll be seeing this go around.
Look for X-Factor to represent in one of the 30-second spots for Pepsi, featuring X-Factor winner Melanie Amaro
The Voice will get its own 60-second spot, directed by Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights) and featuring judges Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green.

If you're yawning so far, sit up and take notice to what should be clever and funny -- The Lonely Island created a 30-second Doritos ad. I'm totally smitten with Andy Samberg and Co. and their SNL Digital Shorts, so I have high expectations.
Don't disappoint me, boys.
Doritos will also show their "Crash the Super Bowl" amateur filmmaker-created ad.
Look for M&M's to also be represented, as well as Anheuser Busch, Go Daddy, Cars.com, CareerBuilder, Best Buy, Coca Cola, Hyundai and more.
Some commercials will run longer than usual, as AdAge says, "a handful of the sponsors for Super Bowl XLVI have bought time for commercials longer than the standard 30 seconds."
