Eggs are magical. Eat them.
.

Eggcellent.

Eggs not only stave off disease, they can help you to lose weight. Lots of it.

A study done by the International Journal of Obesity discovered that adults who ate two eggs for breakfast, as well as cut 1000 cals from their normal diet (these peeps were eating way more than the recommended 2000 cals btw), lost more weight than people who ate a bagel breakfast of equal calories.

And before you hate on carbs, listen to this. The weight loss wasn't based solely on lesser calorie consumption or carb chemical breakdowns, it was based on satiety. It turns out, the peeps who ate eggs felt full longer and ate less calories at their next meal.

Yummy.
.

The egg dieters also reduced their waist measurements 83 percent more than the bagel group, and reported feeling more energetic. Sweet deal, huh?

Nutritionists think this is because of the huge punch of protein eggs bring to the table. Studies have found that getting enough high-quality protein, such as eggs, may play a key role in decreasing rates of obesity, muscle loss and risk of disease.

And don't even think about forgoing that yoke – nearly half of an eggs nutrients lie in that little yellow orb.

So next time you've got a hankerin' for brunch, whip up an egg or two. It's fast, it's easy and it's fabulously nutritious.

Get in my belly!

What about the cholesterol issue for folks with heart disease or are at risk? Not so eggcellent I would guess.

You know what's not so eggcellent? Misinformed "people" like yourself. As a doctor I can assure you that eggs are perfectly safe for all people, especially those with heart disease.

Dr. Uvula has a doctorate in bull crap and the only ailment he is familiar with is the one he suffers from directly. Cucarachitis - (having a cockroach take next in ones posterior).

I love eggs. Poached please!

And you "ObjectivePenny" if that's even your real name, have a doctorate in...nothing. Don't tell me my business. Cucarachitis isn't even an ailment everyone, just something she made up...carry on.

Im sure Poached eggs are much better for you so that it cut the butter and the oil out people use to fry it. If People are worried about eggs being bad for those with Heart disease and then maybe they should try egg beaters that is a healty turn from real eggs.

okay, so the yokes on you (or your hips) - 5 grams of fat per egg. And, just for the record, who fries poached eggs?

Posted By PowerfulWords (3 years ago)
It's all moderation. by the way not fried poached eggs, poached eggs are better than people who cook their eggs in oil or butter. Exp: sunny side up, scrambled.....
