Elton is John Making a Movie About His Life
Rocketman Ready For Lift Off
This is exciting news. Elton John, in collaboration with his partner David Furnish and Billy Elliot author Lee Hall, are set to make an epic biopic titled Rocketman.
The movie will chart John's (nee Reginald Dwight) rise to stardom -- from his first time tinkling on piano keys, to his first #1 hit. Created by Elton's own production company, Rocket Pictures, one of the producers explained:
"Rocketman will be a radically different kind of biopic. It will be as unique as Elton’s life, told in a non-linear and hyper-visual manner that will transport people through the many intense experiences, some wonderful, some not, that helped define Elton as an artist, musician and man."
