Keough Stars In Stripper Movie 'Magic Mike'
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree in the Presley family. Riley Keough, Elvis's granddaughter, is making her Hollywood debut with a splash, appearing in a stunning retro bathing suit in the new issue of Vanity Fair.
Keough, 23, is the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and musician Danny Keough, and is the eldest grandchild of the King of Rock N Roll. But while rock royalty may run in her blood, Riley doesn't want to get into the music business. She wants to act.
"I loved Stanley Kubrick movies when I was a teenager," she says in the July issue of Vanity Fair. "I didn't originally want to act. I wanted to be a director when I was younger, and I made these silly little horror movies."
"And then I started wanting to act when I was 16 or 17."
Keough, who has modeled since she was 14, says she enjoys acting because it allows her the opportunity to inhabit a multitude of different characters and personalities.
"I think acting is a fun thing because you get to have so many lifetimes in one lifetime, being all these different people," she says. "I'm kind of shy and quiet. But I'm only shy in my personal life. If I'm working, somehow I'm not and it goes away."
Look for Keough in the upcoming film Magic Mike, which stars Channing Tatum, Matthew McConoughey and her fiance Alex Pettyfer as male strippers.
Who knows, maybe her grandfather's famous hips will come in handy..
