Eva Longoria Parker Sued for Negligence in Car Crash
In the end, Eva's at fault.
We reported earlier this week that superstar Eva Longoria Parker had been involved in a two-BMW car accident in Hollywood. While it looks like Longoria first tried to shirk responsibility, today she's being slammed with a lawsuit -- here's why the other driver says Eva's to blame for the BMW blitz.
First reports of Eva Longoria's car crash suggested that the other driver, Roman Gasparayan, had slammed into her as Eva tried to make a left-hand turn into a parking lot on Hollywood Boulevard. Now the other Gasparayan's claiming that Eva was in a hurry and wasn't paying attention when she swerved into another lane at the last second, causing him to crash into her. Legal documents reveal Gasparayan wants money back for Longoria's "negligence, carelessness and unlawfulness." Who needs a car crash with a slam like that?!

TMZ reported Tuesday of Gasparayan's account: "[He] claims he was in the median, waiting to make a left turn when Eva ... driving in the opposite direction ... 'made a sudden lane change into the median lane' and collided with him." Gasparayan alleges his 2002 BMW suffered major damages from Longoria's 2010 Beemer, and he also notes serious mental and physical harm to the neck, back, chest and shoulders that resulted from the accident. It's not clear how much Gasparayan demands, but he's said to be suing for legal costs, medical expenses and other general damages.

Eva Longoria's rep has spoken, insisting the following:
"There is absolutely no truth to this claim, and any indications to the contrary are completely false and untrue. Longoria made no sudden turn, did not violate any traffic violations nor did she make any sudden lane changes ... The other driver is clearly trying to make a case where there is none ... All charges are frivolous, without merit, and will not hold up in a court of law."
Eva Longoria Parker must hope so...not only could Gasparayan's suit hurt her rap, it could also cause some pain in her marriage: husband Tony Parker's name is on the deed for Eva's BMW!
