Eva Longoria Sued in Nightclub Scandal
Longoria's partners go bankrupt.
Eva Longoria may be in over her head. Not only is she said to be dwelling on her split with hubby Tony Parker, a new report reveals that her former business partner is trying to sue her for a failed Vegas nightclub venture...which could make Longoria less rich by $12 million.
The nightclub in which Eva Longoria was a partner, Beso in Las Vegas, went under last week. Word has it that Eva pumped $1 million into the business in 2009, and according to ArizonaCentral.com, "was promised repayment at 8 percent annual interest and a large stake in the club."
But her partner, Mali Nachum, now claims that Longoria violated California laws related to usury, or charging a fee for the use of her money. The details are tricky to wade through, but basically Mali Nachum says Eva Longoria screwed him out of $4 million, and he's seeking damages of three times that.

Meanwhile Eva Longoria has responded via her publicist, who has called the civil suit meritless and blames Eva's former partners for forcing Beso into bankruptcy last week.
How has Eva Longoria gotten in so deep? Doesn't this nightclub project have "Tony Parker" written all over it? If we had to guess, we'd say Tony wanted ownership of a Las Vegas club to show all his teammates how awesome he is, and Eva fronted the money for it...if that's the case, it's a good thing both Eva's marriage and business ventures are fizzling. She did everything for the meat-head hubby!
