Eva Longoria-Parker Talks About Nicollette Sheridan Incident
Eva Longoria-Parker reveals drama
Eva Longoria-Parker said that she didn't know anything about Nicollette Sheridan's $20 million lawsuit against Marc Cherry, creator of Desperate Housewives, but she did refer to an "incident" between the two that happened when she wasn't there. Intrigue!
Referring to tensions between the show's creator and Sheridan, she confirmed that there was some kind of situation on the set before Nicollette Sheridan was written out.
"They did have a thing on set," she said on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show.
"I guess it was a couple years ago. It's so long ago, the actual incident, and I wasn't on set when it happened. Apparently, this incident had happened, and she felt it was wrong."
Parker admitted that she was curious about what had happened, but that when she tried to get more information, she was shut down. "Nobody's allowed to talk about it," she said of the incident.
Parker revealed a little bit more about the problem between Sheridan and Cherry, saying "Something happened on set regarding them doing a scene. She was doing a scene, and ... he was showing her how to do a scene. Honestly, I wish I knew [what happened]. During that time too, I didn't work with Nicollette's character."
Saying that both Cherry and Sheridan were "sweet," Eva expressed her confusion about the lawsuit and what really happened, stating that she'd hate for the show to be hurt in any way.
"I would love to see her to find out if everything is okay. But it's a big lawsuit, it's a big deal. I love the show so much. I would hate for anything to really tarnish the reputation of the show. I really would like for all of it to go away," she admitted.
This new information definitely has me watching this lawsuit more closely. While the legal reps from Desperate Housewives say the claim is "without merit," I'm not so sure.
