Evan Rachel Wood to Star on True Blood
A new vampire in town
The hot vampire TV show, True Blood, just got a new actress on their cast and we think she's perfect for playing a vampire. Evan Rachel Wood will make her True Blood premiere on August 30.
She's pale, mysterious, and beautiful. Oh, and she dated Marilyn Manson too. For some reason, these are all things we equate with being perfect for the role of a vampire. And now Evan Rachel Wood will be playing the role of vampire queen, Sophie-Ann, on HBO's True Blood.
And it looks like it was Wood's idea to be on the show. According to True Blood producer Alan Bell, Evan Rachel Wood is "incredibly talented and expressed an interest in being on the show." He also says that her character will be, "powerful, capricious and most likely insane." Ooh, we can't wait!
It was also just announced that Lindsay Haun will play Sookie Stackhouse's (Anna Paquin) cousin and Evan Rachel Wood's lesbian lover on the show. It sounds like this season is already going to be an amazing one.
