What a whirlwind marriage for Evelyn Lozada and Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson -- she's filed for divorce, ending their 41 day marriage.

Even Kim Kardashian was married longer than that, but I don't blame Lozada for filing.

Lozada filed for divorce shortly after Johnson allegedly head-butted her, with Lozada's lawyer noting in a statement, "Given the recent events that have taken place, Evelyn has decided to file for divorce and move on with her life."

Lozada received treatment at a hospital for lacerations to her head.

She and Johnson reportedly got in a fight when she found a receipt for a box of condoms, with their argument escalating to Johnson allegedly ramming his wife in the head.

Johnson was arrested later on domestic battery charges.

Things further unraveled from there, with the Dolphins terminating his contract and VH1 shelving the reality series Ev & Ocho that was to debut on September 3.

Johnson took to his website yesterday to weigh in, writing: "I am going to let the legal process run its course. I wish Evelyn nothing but the best, I have no negative words to say about her, the only thing I can say is I love her very much."

He added, "I will continue to be positive and stay training hard for another opportunity in the NFL. I appreciate all my fans and supporters and if I have disappointed you in any way, you have my sincerest apologies. Once again I will continue to stay positive and appreciate all the support during this tough period in my life."
