The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy movie-goer.

Fans of Wes Anderson films will find the director back in top form, as his new movie, Fantastic Mr. Fox, combines all the sardonic quirkiness we've come to love in films like The Royal Tenenbaums and Rushmore.

Fantastic Mr. Fox is an animated adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl children's story. The film is being praised for the incredible detail of its stop-motion artwork, as well as the smart, playful storyline.

Featuring voices from George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Bill Murray and Cate Blanchett, the film follows Mr. Fox, a thieving dead-beat dad, and his wife as they go on the run from chicken farmers.

The resulting farce, according to Salon's Stephanie Zacharek, is "possibly the finest picture about family, community and poultry thievery ever made."

In fact, with a current rating of 91%, Fantastic Mr. Fox is a hit with critics everywhere. A.O. Scott of the New York Times calls it Anderson's "most fully realized and satisfying film," while Peter Travers from Rolling Stone calls it "an adventure in pure imagination that plays to the smart kid in all of us."
