It's Another "Squeee!" Morning

A red panda mom named Shan Tou has given birth to triplets at the Red River Zoo in Fargo, North Dakota. According to the head zoo keeper, it's been a decade since red panda triplets have appeared in the Western hemisphere. Oh, and they happen to be ridiculously cute!

The red panda babies, which are more on the white side until their color develops, were a surprise birth. Shan Tou had one of the babies while still on exhibit, and the little ones are due to start charming the public in person come August.

To learn more about the endangered red panda and its habitat, we recommend checking out the Red Panda Network, which has an Adopt-a-Panda page and a gallery of panda pics. It's just the thing to make you smile this a.m.!
