Female Sex Drive Peaks At 11 P.M. On Saturdays
Irish Women Have The Most Sex
Everybody's working for the weekend, because they all want to have dirty, dirty sex with each other. A new survey reveals a woman's libido is usually at its highest late Saturday night when work is the furthest thing from her mind.
British magazine Women's Health surveryed 1,000 women and found, among other interesting facts about their sexual lives, that sex drive tends to peak at 11 p.m. on Saturday nights.
Researchers believe the rise in friskiness on the weekend can be attributed to a hectic work schedule, when most busy people just don't have the time to be in the mood.
But come Saturday evening, levels of cortisol (a drug our bodies produce which stimulates sex hormones) tend to be at their peak. Hence the Saturday night fever.
Other findings in the study revealed that Irish women have the most sex, Scottish women were the most pleased in the bed room, and over 75% of women in the U.K. are satisfied with their sex lives.
Said a spokeperson for the magazine, "It is great to see that the majority of British women are satisfied between the sheets, or outside, as our Women's Health sex survey reveals."
