Fergie Keeps It Short and Sweet

Fergie recently responded to rumors of her husband Josh Duhamel's affair, keeping things to-the-point. Why elaborate when you (and your publicists) have made it very clear that the whispers are untrue? Still, after stripper Nicole Forrester said that she had no choice but to come out with the info after dealing with the National Enquirer's threats, we had to wonder, too.

Nicole Forrester went on the Atlanta Radio Show The Bert Show to talk about Josh Duhamel and her alleged fling with him. She said that because she didn't want to have her children find out she was a stripper, she tried to keep the whole thing under wraps as long as possible--but the National Enquirer said that they would run the story about her and Josh having a one-night stand, anyway. So she took the money, she claims, because the news was going to get out anyway.

It sounds like a reasonable story, but then come the quotes to make you question the validity of her statements! "We did hook up and had lots of sex and we had a really, really good time," and he's a "really, really sweet guy." Oooh, poignant.

When asked about the unfolding mess, Fergie responded by saying pointedly "These allegations are nonsense."

Josh Duhamel's rep previously commented that "This story is absolutely ridiculous. It is unfortunate that we have to respond to a story that was created because money was exchanged between a tabloid and this woman."

Will Fergie have the final say? Is this the end of this newlywed couple's drama?

Just because a person is a stripper doesn't mean that the person is dishonest. The idiot (Josh) was dumb enough to brag about his infidelity on his movie set. The stripper didn't tell about the banging night of sex, Josh did! The tabloids were smart to jump on that story!
