Fergie Shrugs Off Baby Rumors: "My Weight Fluctuates"

No Baby, But About the Rumored Plastic Surgery, Fergie?

Fergie's having a tough time with the gossip mill. She's said to have overhauled her face in a huge number of cosmetic procedures, and that's not all: She's also rumored to the pregnant. Whatever. The singer's scoffing about it all in new issue of Allure.

It's not easy to be a celebrity in the world of paparazzi crowds and "bump watches," but Fergie's honest about why there are persistent pregnancy rumors floating around about her.

"I think people think that I'm pregnant sometimes because my weight fluctuates," Fergie told the magazine, lamenting that she undoes all the cardio and meal-delivery preparation when she drives by a fast food place and impulsively wants to stop.

"I'm a work in progress in that area," Fergie admitted, and we can sympathize. When normal people gain a couple pounds, they can throw on a tunic top and call it a day. Not Fergie. She's not only a hardcore exerciser, but she likes to experiment for new looks each year. Sometimes to her own detriment, it seems.

Fergie complained to Allure that her recent makeover had the press claiming she'd gotten work done, which wasn't true.

"I did two major drastic things, which is hair to the side - it was the first time - and the big neon lip," she described.

"I wanted to try something different, and all of a sudden it was this big backlash. People were saying, 'It's a fake Fergie.' I mean, I heard about some ridiculous amount of money that I spent on my face, which I think is absolutely insane."

Is it, though? Maybe Fergie decided to get some peels, fillers, and Botox, and then say that she didn't get surgical work done. She definitely looks different, so there has to be some new routine in place. I guess that secret stays between Fergie and her dermatologist/skin specialist ... for now.
