Watch this first look at the Wizard of Oz prequel, Oz: The Great and Powerful, starring Mila Kunis and James Franco.
Entertainment Tonight looked at the sets for the film, as well as interviewed Franco and Kunis.

Franco explains his role as Oz, who is not a "bad guy," but "he does everything he can to succeed ... and depends on success for satisfaction."

Franco adds, "This Oz is a little different. You get to see a lot more of who this Oz is ... The search for [his heart] is one of the main themes of this movie."
Kunis said her character is "misunderstood" and not evil.
The stars also talk about the original Wizard of Oz, with Kunis saying the new film "captures the magic," adding, "But it's completely different. In my opinion, a little bit darker, a little more grounded. There is no singing, there is no dancing."
While the clip is mostly interviews, you can get a little sense for what Oz: The Great and Powerful will look like -- it's being shot on 28 different sets on seven sound stages.
