Forbes Ranks The Top Ten Highest Paid Actresses In Hollywood [SLIDESHOW]

Kristin Stewart tops the annual list, earning $34.5 million between May 2011- May 2012

Forbes has just released its list that makes us all question our career paths: The top ten highest-paid actresses in Hollywood.

Standing atop the list is Twilight franchise actress Kristen Stewart, who raked in about $34.5 million between the period of May 2011 and May 2012. Not a bad year for a 22 year old, who also happens to be the youngest woman on the list (by 14 years).

The criteria used by the magazine included upfront pay, profit participation, residuals, endorsements and advertising. They accumulated this info through managers, agents, lawyers and others that would be in the loop, and expenses such as agent fees weren't deducted.

Even though the women bring home small fortunes, men on the big screen still earn more, as the top ten actors earned about $361 million in total, whereas the women garnered a total of $200 million. Will that glass cieling never shatter?
