Gerard Butler Uses Fame To Get Out of Chores
Gerard Butler has revealed he tries to get out of household chores by using his Hollywood star status. The Scots-born actor said mum Margaret demands that he does the dishes when he goes home to visit her.
And he said she won't take no for an answer - even when he says he is too famous to clean up. He said: "I go home and they'll cook Christmas dinner and she's like, 'Come on, give a hand, come on, wash the dishes or put the dishes away'. "And I'm like, 'Mum, I am a major Hollywood movie star, I can't be doing this. It's embarrassing'." Gerard, 39, told a US newspaper: "I end up on my hands and knees, wiping up the floor." The 300 star will next be seen on screen in sci-fi thriller, Gamer, set to hit screens in September.
