Lower Parliament Passed Law Last Week

Wow! Germans are ahead of the game in preventing unhealthy beauty moves with their newest law blocking those under 18 from using tanning beds. Do you agree with the decision?

Germany's ADP dermatological association estimated that four million under-18s tan at least once a month or more, with some solarium-loving tanners being only 10 years of age. ADP's Professor Eckhard Breitbart said that "If people under 35 regularly use solariums, the risk of getting at some point in life malignant melanoma, the third deadliest cancer that there is, rises by 75 percent."

The law was passed by a large majority, and studies show that 14 million Germans regularly tan between the ages of 18 and 45. What do you think about the decision? Yea or nay?
