Gisele Bundchen's New Skin Care Line
Natural Beauty
Gisele Bundchen recently did a great interview with Vogue, and she talked a lot about her life with a baby. She's a businesswoman, but when she gets home, she turns "off" and relaxes. As for her beauty routine? It sounds like she spent some time working on a great new collection of beauty products.
Gisele's all about natural solutions and living right. Right up until two weeks before her baby was due, Gisele said that she went to kung fu lessons and practiced yoga three times a week. Eating sensibly, she said she "gained only 30 pounds" because "a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals."
But back to beauty: Gisele's new products sound amazing. She was on a quest for purity, and she stuck to her own terms when developing her creams and masks. She mentioned that because the beauty line is self-financed, she could be extremely picky about the products and what was in them. From Vogue:
"Her manufacturers, she says, 'were ready to kill me. I wanted the cream to be organic-they explained that if it's organic, it's alive, and that means it can't survive for a long time.' The products are now called 'natural,' the ingredients are held to a high standard of purity, and the preservative is coconut oil."
I think that's a fair trade, because a lot of truly organic products have to be kept in the fridge, and spoil after a couple of weeks. As someone who cannot put oil on her skin, I'm looking forward to the "pure" mud mask:
"When I was a teenager, I had pimples-oh, God, every time someone looked at my face I thought they were looking at my pimples. I put mud on my face to dry them out, and it worked," she told Vogue.
Sejaa Pure Skincare will be priced between $56 and $70, and we can find it at Sejaa.com.
