Glee Could Be Coming to Broadway
The most perfect musical ever
Glee fans tend to be super fans and thus, they're going to be incredibly excited by this news. Glee could be coming to Broadway! If you think about it, there really is no more perfect idea for a Broadway show.
Besides some good casting, we don't even think it would take much to make the Broadway version of Glee a huge success. Music Theatre International (MTI) was behind Broadway musicals Legally Blonde, Hairspray, and Fiddler on the Roof. And now Playbill.com is saying they want to bring Glee to the stage.
According to the MTI chairman, "The Glee deal is in negotiations. We're exploring a collaborative venture with Fox and Glee. We just think it's a natural." It's most definitely natural and it would be almost cruel if Glee didn't come to the stage.
But just in case, Glee doesn't come to Broadway, Gleeks still have something to look forward to. The series is coming to the stage in an upcoming concert tour this spring. But we have a feeling that after seeing how successful that tour is, MTI won't be able to resist a Broadway show!
Maybe you can even wear your Glee clothing to the show!
