Celebrating the King

You know those shows that just keep getting better and better? That's Glee. Will there come a point when Glee "jumps the shark"? If so, I hope it's not for a long time! Now we're learning that Glee's Super Bowl episode will feature the cast singing and dancing to Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

All financial stops are pulled out for the Super Bowl. From the commercials to the performers, everything about the Super Bowl is big and expensive. And this year, that will also include the post-Super Bowl Glee episode. According to Entertainment Weekly, it's set to be the most expensive episode of Glee yet!

And yes, though the episode is not a Michael Jackson tribute of any kind, it will feature Michael Jackson's "Thriller." EW says that "Thriller" will actually be mashed up with another song, yet to be determined. What song could it be?

The episode will be football-themed, focusing on the local football championship. So you can tune into Glee after you're done with the excitement of the Super Bowl. Honestly, this sounds like the perfect night to me: A little bit of football and a little bit of Glee with some Michael Jackson tossed in.

So, what else will add to the cost of the post-Super Bowl Glee episode? It's being said there will also be songs from Katy Perry, Lady Antebellum, and the Black Eyed Peas. How awesome is this episode going to be? Too bad we have to wait until early February!
