Goldie Hawn: Childrearing Expert or Hard-Partying Grand-Mama?
As the Private Benjamin Star Goes to England to Promote Her New Childrearing Book, She's Photographed Stumbling Out of a Nightclub at 4:30 in the Morning
Goldie Hawn went to England to promote her childrearing how-to book earlier this month, but the 66-year-old may have made a bigger impression with photographs snapped of her stumbling out of a London nightclub at 4:30 a.m.

The U.K. Daily Mail reports Hawn, while in London to promote her book 10 Mindful Minutes: Giving Our Children--and Ourselves--the Social and Emotional Skills to Reduce Stress and Anxiety for Healthier, Happy Lives, launched her new Hawn Foundation UK on March 7 in London, but later that night, was photographed sloppily leaving Annabels nightclub.
"She started the evening looking poised and elegant in a strapless blue dress, her hair sleek, her complexion impressively fresh … nine hours later … (she was) struggling to stand and with dishevelled hair and bleary eyes … she had to be helped into a car, only to miss the seat and fall backwards, revealing a considerable amount of shapely leg," the Daily Mail reports.
The paper goes on to note that, while Hawn was in the country to launch her children's charity foundation, her bitter ex-husband, entertainer Mark Hudson, recently released his book, a tome that also paints a very different portrait of Hawn.
Hudson, the father of Hawn's actor children Kate and Oliver Hudson, says he hasn't spoken to either of his kids in four years, and blames his alienated relationships with them on manipulation by Hawn.

Hudson told Daily Mail writer Christopher Wilson, who wrote a biography of Hawn, "She has a raft of publicists putting over her revisionist view of history, but the truth is that she falls short in real life. She cannot legitimately write a book about how to make children happy until she recognizes how she made our children unhappy."
Hudson, in the interview and his book, recounts years of alleged fighting with Hawn, all designed, he says, to keep him from having a real relationship with his kids.
"I have no relationship with my children and I’ve never met my grandchildren," he concludes. Sad.
