'Gossip Girl' Series Finale: Blair and Chuck, Serena and Dan Get Married?

If You're One of the Gossip Girl Fans Who Stopped Watching, You May Want to Tune Back in for the Series Finale Weddings

Remember how much you loved Gossip Girl that first season, how it was one of the best things about Mondays? And then, well, not so much. But even those no longer devoted to the happenings of the rich, privileged Upper East Side teens might want to tune in for the series finale, which is promising a pair of much-awaited weddings.

They're not together now, and their love lives have been quite active -- and not with each other -- in the last few seasons, but as Gossip Girl winds down to its December conclusion, it looks like Dan/Serena and Chuck/Blair reunions are in order.

Photos of the two couples getting hitched appeared in the New York Post this week, with each couple having a decidedly different wedding.

Dan (Penn Badgley) and Serena (Blake Lively) are standing in front of a minister, with Dan in a fancy gray suit, Serena in a Marchesa gown and guests looking on at the couple in what appears to be a ballroom setting.

As for Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester), their nuptials appear to be on the fly, with Blair in a blue dress, Chuck in a white suit and a few of their friends surrounding them at Bethesda Terrace in Central Park.

But, the Post reports, the two continuously look over their shoulders throughout the ceremony, which is then interrupted by the NYPD.

The show's sixth season consists of 10 episodes, with the series finale -- titled "New York, I Love You XOXO" -- scheduled to air on Dec. 10.

The Post does bring up one disturbing possibility about the finale: what if the whole thing, including the weddings, turns out to be a dream, a la that notorious season of Dallas?
