The bad news: an Austrian groom was caught cheating on his new wife during the couple's wedding reception, when the father of the bride walked in on him having sex with a waitress.

The good news, if you really look for it: at least the bride is saving herself potential years of heartache with the loser.

The drunk 27-year-old groom was busted by the bride's daddy just hours after the wedding ceremony. The father of the bride went looking for the groom during the reception, and found him getting busy with a waitress in the kitchen of the reception venue.

The bride's pop remained remarkably calm, stopped the celebration and sent all the guests home -- all without strangling the groom, surprisingly enough.

As for the poor bride, she, of course, wants a divorce, but under Austrian law, will have to wait six months to snag one, Austrian Times reports.
