To develop your abs and back, while building a great stabilizing system, you might want to try the Plank on Elbows and Toes. Simply lie face down, with your palms flat on the floor, and then push off the mat, so that you are resting on your elbows and are up on your toes.

Aim at keeping your back flat throughout this move, with your pelvis tucked in to avoid your rear edging up and ruining your strong plank pose. Aim to hold this position for 20 seconds in the beginning, later working up to a full minute.
