Feeling pretty good about that $7.99 Hanes white tee you're rocking? According to Gwyneth Paltrow, you may want to rethink it.

$90 for a plain white tee

You see, the actress-turned-lifestyle guru just unveiled what she believes is the ideal summer top on her website, Goop. She says the goop tee, co-created by the label Kain, is, in fact, "the perfect tee." The retail price? A cool $90 bucks. Of course, that doesn't include $10 for shipping and handling.

So for just a little more than the cost of two adults treating their kids to a night of movies and pizza, you can instead spend the cash on "inspired tuxedo tailoring, grosgrain piping to the shoulders and sides...[in this] modernized essential wardrobe staple."

Sounds lovely, but we'd be more opt to buy it if it came with features like "magically withstands wine stains."

In the past, The Goopster has defended herself from being out of touch with the budgets of average Americans, telling Harper Bazaar, "there were a couple of times when I thought 'I'm just gonna stop doing it. People are so mean to me. I don't want to do it.'

"But then I was like, ‘Who cares what some lame person out there says?' I was in Italy once, and this old man came up to me and said, ‘I had the best time in Nashville because of Goop.' And that is so worth it to me."
