Hailee Steinfeld is New Face of Miu Miu

Wow, they're starting them young these days! Hailee Steinfeld is only 14 years old and she's just been named the new face of Miu Miu in their print advertising campaign. Do you think Hailee is an awesome pick on Miu Miu's part or should they have chosen someone a bit older?

Hailee Steinfeld is certainly not your ordinary 14-year-old girl. After all, she's already been nominated for an Oscar for her role in lat year's True Grit. Not to mention, she attends so many events and awards shows that she knows who all her favorite luxury designers are. And it sounds like Miu Miu is one.

I'll admit I was a little bit surprised when I heard Hailee Steinfeld was chosen as the face of Miu Miu. Mostly just because she's young and I wouldn't think adults who can afford Miu Miu would want to wear a brand represented by a 14-year-old. But maybe I'm totally wrong here.

Hailee's stylist, Karla Welch, told The Daily Beast, "Miu Miu is such a perfect fit for her. Throughout awards season, they were the dresses she wanted to wear." And we do constantly see her in Miu Miu and Prada (Miu Miu's parent company).

It's being said that Hailee Steinfeld has already shot the campaign and that she's the youngest girl to represent the brand. I definitely believe that! Other stars who have represented the designer include Lindsay Lohan, Katie Holmes, Kirsten Dunst, and Vanessa Paradis.
