Halle Berry Says She and Palin are Distant Relatives

Halle Berry recently found out she's related to Sarah Palin. And, let's just say she was less than thrilled.

Berry discovered that she and Palin are distant relatives after a fan did some extensive research and found out that the two are related.

During an interview with Extra (video below), Berry revealed that she and Palin are relatives, as she asked, "You wanna know who I'm related to? Sarah Palin!"

She added, "Some twisted way (we are related) ... somebody sent me this information that she was my distant (relative)."

So, that's interesting.

It also sounds like Berry could be a great candidate for that genealogy reality show, Who Do You Think You Are?

Berry isn't the only one with a famous relative, as her Cloud Atlas co-star Tom Hanks said he is a third cousin, four times removed, of Abraham Lincoln.

As Hanks notes in the video, "This is the Cloud Atlas continuum, without a doubt. I'm telling you the connections that go through! It doesn't matter who, what race, where, what time."
