Halloween can be a time to dress up as something totally ridiculous or something absolutely horrible and scary. But it can also be a time to dress up as something you've always wanted to be. And we say one of the girls from CW's Gossip Girl definitely fits that bill. This costume idea is perfect for couples or groups!

Those Gossip Girls are always fashionable. Not to mention, they're rich, popular, and have hot boyfriends. You might not be any of these things, but that doesn't mean you can't pretend on Halloween. Dressing up as one of the girls from Gossip Girl this Halloween is the perfect idea!

This costume idea is even better if you can gather a group of friends to dress up with you (each pick a girl and find some boys to play the guys), but it can also easily be done solo.

We think one of the easiest girls to dress as is Blair Waldorf. She is so ridiculously preppy, all you need to do is find a plaid skirt, white button down shirt (preferably with a little bowtie), knee socks, and a headband. If you have a boyfriend who's up for being Chuck Bass, dress him in an argyle sweater vest with a button down shirt underneath, bowtie, matching argyle socks, and preppy shorts. Hair gel is a necessity too.

Preppy, private school, and plaid are the three p's to remember when it comes to Gossip Girl. You can probably dig through your closet and be able to pull together a Gossip girl costume from what you already have!
