'Hangover 3': Final Movie Coming in 2013
Hangover 3 Opening May 24, 2013
At first mention of a Hangover 3, I wondered "Why??!??"
The first Hangover was comedy gold, worthy of repeat viewings and a treasure-trove of fabulous quotes.
The Hangover 2? Not so golden or treasure-trovey.
In fact, I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I completely fell asleep during it.

It was pretty forgettable all around, despite the return of the original cast.
Will the third installment do any better? It probably can't be any worse.
(And by the way, the answer to "Why?" -- it's all about the money, honey, as Hangover and Hangover Part II grossed more than $1 billion worldwide combined.)
According to Vulture, Director and co-writer Todd Phillips and Warner Bros. have confirmed that the stars, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, and Bradley Cooper, will return, with an opening date of May 24, 2013.
They also confirm it will be the final movie of the franchise.
Thank you for that.
Phillips noted in a statement about The Hangover Part III: "We're going to surprise a lot of people with the final chapter we have planned. It will be a fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions."
How will the plot differ from the formula of the first two films?

In a December interview with MTV, Cooper revealed, "We adhered to the formula in the second one, for those of you who've seen it, and the third one, which would close the whole sort of trilogy, which now it would be a trilogy -- even though we thought we would never make a second one, let alone anybody see the first one -- I think it will take place in Los Angeles and maybe not adhere to the structure. It might be different."
So ... happy endings all around for the Wolfpack?
