Harrison Ford Lists Gorgeous $8.295 Million Mansion for Sale [SLIDESHOW]
And He Bought It for Just $1 Million!
That Harrison Ford is one savvy real estate owner: The Star Wars and Indiana Jones legend is selling his gorgeous Los Angeles mansion for a whopping $8.295 million, and he paid for just $1 million for the property when he purchased it in 1983.
The four-bedroom home (that's four bedrooms in the main house) is located in the exclusive Brentwood area of Los Angeles, and in addition to beautiful polished wood floors, paneled walls, beau moldings, lots of built-in bookcases and four fireplaces, also includes a pool and poolside guest house with two additional bedroom suites.
Oh, and the four bedrooms in the main house? They're actually private bedroom suites, Forbes.com reports. There's also a library, huge living room, gorgeous country kitchen, family room, gardens and a workshop (Ford used to make his living as a carpenter in his pre-fame days).
In all, the property includes the main house and three detached guest suites, and sits off the street and up a long driveway for privacy. The property also offers views of Los Angeles and the ocean, and if you're interested in a private showing of the home, Realtor.com has the contact details.

As for why the Oscar-nominated actor is willing to part with such a manse? He and wife Calista Flockhart bought another estate last September: a 13,767 square foot mansion in the Mandeville Canyon area of Los Angeles … for $12.65 million.
