Harry Potter's Rupert Grint Has Swine Flu
Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has been stricken with a mild case of swine flu. The actor, who plays Harry's best friend Ron Weasley in the hit movie franchise, has had to take some time out of filming to recover.
"It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu," Grint's representative confirmed. The Hogwarts pupil caught the bug during the filming of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and was ordered to stay away from fellow cast members. The rest of the cast and crew were also tested for swine flu as a result and have been given the all-clear. Grint, 20, has bounced back, however, and his doctor has declared him to be non-contagious, so he will now attend the premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London. "He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards," the rep stated. Grint is thought to have received Tamiflu and recovered at his home in Hertfordshire.
