Havaianas Launches Rain Boots in the U.K.

Doesn't it seem like rain boots are all the rage now? If it's going to be rainy and miserable out, we may as well have some pretty boots on our feet to keep us dry. Famous flip flop brand Havaianas just debuted the most adorable rain boots in the UK and we're seriously hoping they came to the U.S. in time for fall.

April showers bring May flowers. And since many of us here in the United States are being tormented by lots of spring rain, we're all in the market for some new rain boots. Or wellies, if you will. Hunter boots are fabulous, but now that everyone and their brother has a pair, we'd love some boots that would set us apart from the crowd.

So, when I heard Havaianas was launching their own line of wellies, I went wild. Especially when I saw the gorgeous boots. Then I learned they were sold in the U.K. only. And that they're set to spread to the rest of Europe soon. So, I'm hoping that means they'll be in the U.S. in time for fall (though really, spring would be ideal).

The rain boots come in eight colors and patterns, including the "always summer" print. But really, all of the wellies I've seen so far remind me of summer. Which is to be expected from a brand that's so known for their flip flops.

I often wish I could wear flip flops year-round. But since I know that's not possible, I'd gladly take the next best thing. A pair of brightly colored rain boots made by a company that knows flip flops like no other. But for now, I'll have to keep myself happy with Havaianas newly released close-toe shoes. It's a start. But I can't wait to get my hands on a pair of Havaianas wellies!
