Hayden Panettiere Leaves High School Image Behind
Hayden Panettiere thinks her latest role will be the last time she will play a "high-school girl". Hayden, 19, is famous for her role as high-school cheerleader Claire Bennett in superhero TV series Heroes.
She is now starring as a teen in the film I Love You, Beth Cooper. She said: "I think it's kind of the last time I'm going to be able to play a high-school girl." Hayden added: "It's not like I'm too old, but just that I think it will be the last project I might do in that genre. But never say never." The teen actress also shot down rumours she is leaving Heroes to concentrate on movies. She said: "I'm not leaving, no. Being on the show is definitely a good thing - having that steady nine-to-five job is a comfort. "And because I got on the show so young, even if I am on it for a full six years, I'm still at a prime age to do movies when I'm done."
