Heather Locklear Returns to 'Melrose Place'
The boss is back.
Television has changed a lot since the '90s. Sitcoms aren't as funny, Urkel is nowhere to be found and reality shows dominate the ratings. But Heather Locklear, star of the original Melrose Place, is ready to bring the decade back as she joins the newer version of the once-popular drama.
Locklear, 47, will be reprising her role as the evil, scheming ad executive Amanda Woodward, whom she played in the original version of Melrose Place.
Locklear's character debuted at the end of the first season in 1993, and from there she remained a popular member of the cast throughout the show's seven-year run of Fox.
But now the show is on the CW network, and it's got a whole new generation of tenants. Among the young stars living in or around the Melrose apartment complex are Aslee Simpson-Wentz, Kate Cassidy, Jessica Lucas and Colin Egglesfield.
Locklear's Woodard is set to appear in episode 10, on November 17th of this year. There's no word yet on how long she'll stick around or what sort of havoc she'll wreak on the characters, but we're pretty sure the sparks are going to fly.
