Despite promos for The Hills, the official looking ceremony that takes place in a Beverly Hills courthouse is staged as well. That's right, MTV is a big fat liar.

According to a Los Angeles Superior Court official, MTV was granted permission to shoot in a Beverly Hills courtroom, but it was done after hours and a judge did not officiate.

That means MTV faked not one, but two weddings (and an US Weekly cover). Ahh, the drama. Speidigate continues.
