This past week was a bit of mixed bag in the celebrity world-so much happened! So many things, not sure where to start! How about with the rumored Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer reconciliation? Sound good? Cool, here we go...
That's right, folks, it's been going around the web the past few days that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have gotten back together. I know I overuse this saying but, REALLY? Come on! Jennifer, listen to me. You're THE most eligible bachelorette in the country. John Mayer? Really? Not once, not twice, but three times you go back to that well? There are so many other hot single men in Hollywood. Wouldn't it be fun if she dated Zach Braff or Seth Meyers? Interesting....
Speaking of Hollywood matchmaking, it was reported that Twilight cutie Taylor Lautner was spotted at a couple of Taylor Swift concerts this past weekend. The two teens are co-stars in next year's romantic comedy star-packed film Valentine's Day-but these recent sighting might mean their more than just friends! I, for one, am totally behind this pairing. How cute would a couple of Taylors be?
The final bit of couple news I wanted to mention was the wedding of Mad Men star Christina Hendricks last weekend. The gorgeous redhead married her actor beau, Geoffrey Arend on Sunday in New York. Hendricks wowed in a strapless Carolina Herrera wedding gown.
I know I promised you in my last column that I wouldn't mention Jon and Kate Gosselin this week, but of course something big happened so now I have to cover them. It was announced earlier this week that Kate Plus 8 (the final iteration of the hot mess that's been that family on television) will end its run in November. I can't say I'm super surprised by this turn of events after everything that's been playing out in the press. And ultimately, this is probably best for the children, so I think it's a good think. You?
Supermodel and Project Runway host Heidi Klum and singer Seal welcomed daughter Lou Sulola Samuel last week, her rep confirmed on Monday. This little one joins siblings Johan, Henry, and Leni. Congratulations!
So earlier this week, during FOX NFL Sunday, a cartoon skit was aired that involved animated versions of the Dallas Cowboys players and coach making fun of Jessica Simpson's alleged weight gain after breaking up with Tony Romo. After every news outlet in the world covered it, Fox released an apology. I am blown away by the complete insensitivity of the skit - and the people who felt it was okay to broadcast! I can't believe ANYONE would think it's okay to make fun of a women's weight. I have no idea why people seem to think Jessica is fair game for weight conversations, but it makes me so angry. Could you imagine having every magazine and TV outlet monitoring your weight gain and loss? Man. At least they apologized.

- Taylor Swift and Saturday Night Live announced this week that the country singer will be hosting the show on November 7. Insert Kanye West joke here.
- While appearing at a book signing promoting her new book Dreams, Leona Lewis was punched in the head by a man attending the event. Thankfully the singer was fine and the man accused of assaulting her was immediately arrested. Bizarre.
- Emporio Armani made many men smile when they named Megan Fox the face of their new women's underwear campaign. The actress will be seen in the new ads beginning in January. I'm happy with the choice of Megan but will DEFINITELY miss the hot Beckham Armani ads...
- Kourtney Kardashain revealed that she's having a boy!
- To the delight of country music fans around the world, Garth Brooks announced he's ending his 9-year retirement on Thursday.
